Loxley Cider varieties are crafted using local Nottinghamshire and near neighbour counties apples and pears. Our English Heritage, wild and traditional cider apple varieties, include Dabinett, Tremblets Bitter, Yarlington Mill, Howgate Wonder and Somerset Redstreak.
Our Perry use’s 100% Perry pears, such as Brandy, Barnet, Colic and locally grown wild Perry pears. The perfectly ripe, crisp fruit is picked and washed by hand, then shredded into fine pulp. The pulp is then wrapped in natural fibre cloths and pressed between wooden plates by hand, to produce the finest, purest and freshest juice.
Naturally fermented with wild yeast and using only two ingredients, wild fruit and sugar Loxley Cider contains no additives, preservatives or artificial sweeteners. Loxley Cider is created under the passionate care of Emma & Leo of Summerwood Lane Community Garden.
